Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson is an American professional football player who currently plays as a quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on January 7, 1997, in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Jackson played college football at the University of Louisville, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2016. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and quickly became the starting quarterback for the team.

In his first full season as a starter in 2019, Jackson had a breakout year, setting numerous NFL and Ravens franchise records, including the most rushing yards in a season by a quarterback. He was also named the NFL MVP for that season, becoming the youngest player in league history to receive the award.
